Youth Group

The Northminster and Wild Rose Youth Group is more that Sunday school or bible study. It's about getting out, challenging others and developing your self. Mixed into all of this is the understanding that it is important to have fun.

What do we do? Well, in the past we have

• Organized a worship service
• Have gone wall climbing and roller skating
• Have had movie and games nights
• Made sandwiches for the homeless
• Attended the weekend retreat in Edmonton
• Stayed up all night at our Wake-A-Thon

Choir

Northminster's choir provides music for church services and special occasions. Choir practice is each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Come and make beautiful music!

United Church Women (UCW)
At Northminster United Church

The United Church Women have an active group of women who meet regularly at Northminster United Church in the Annette Reinhardt Room. Usually we meet the fourth Wednesday of the month, from September to May. Meetings take place from 7:30 to 10:00 pm.

We gather for devotions, study and fellowship, through a variety of programs. We prepare and deliver Christmas baskets for shut-ins in December and organize funeral receptions as a service to our church members. The UCW member do their share to support the work of our church including providing coffee hour once a month and kitchen cleaning on a regular basis.

All women of the congregation are invited to attend and participate in our meetings and activities.

Book Club

If you like to read books and like to share your views with others, you will enjoy our group. Please take this notice as your invitation to come and discuss any of these books

The book club meets at the church on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 10:30 am. For more information please contact the church office at 403-277-0322.

Banner Guild

The Banner Guild meets each Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. to noon. We construct new banners, remodel older ones and hang the appropriate banners in the sanctuary depending on the seasons of the church. We have fun and fellowship while we work including the celebration of each member's birthday as well as holidays. We welcome new members.

Fun 'n Friends Seniors Group

Please consider joining us for an afternoon of fun and friendship with the Senior Fun ' Friends social group. The group meets the first Thursday of each month from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. (excluding July and August). Scrabble, cards, crib, conversation and fellowship are enjoyed. In addition we go to the Legion for lunch the third Wednesday of each month.

Scrapbooking Club

Come join us for an evening of crafting, creativity, conversation and fun! Whether you scrapbook, make cards, knit, needle point, or just want to get out of the house, we would love to have you join us. We try to meet the first Friday of each month (although sometimes due to schedules, this changes). We meet in the small gym at Northminster Church from 7 pm – 10 pm.
